If you’re like most guys, cultivating a well-rounded, satisfying sex life is probably high on your priority list, and with good reason.
Men who have adventurous, kinky sex and plenty of it tend to be happier, healthier, and more satisfied with every aspect of their lives.
Plus, great sex is just too good to miss out on – especially if you like things a little kinky. That said, some kink and fetish play scenarios are commonly loved enough that they’re worth trying at least once, even if it’s just to say you know what they’re like.
Here are a few key examples to add to your own running sexual bucket list.
1. BDSM Play
Did you know that July 24th is International BDSM Day? Yes, that’s totally a thing, not to mention the perfect reason to finally explore bondage, impact play, power dynamic play, or any other BDSM-related activity that floats your boat.
Experimenting with BDSM can really expand a person’s sexual horizons.
It can also bring couples closer together by encouraging better communication, more experimentation, openness to new sensations or dynamics, and so much more.
2. Roleplaying
No man really needs to be told fantasy is an integral part of any exciting intimate life well lived. But who says fantasies are only for enjoying privately and within the confines of one’s own imagination?
Roleplaying is a terrific way to take things to the next level if you’re game. How you approach it is up to you, but there are lots of different kinky sex approaches to explore.
Roleplaying can be as simple as adopting a different personality between the sheets than you typically display, just for fun.
Or you can embrace elaborate scenarios that involve scene-setting, costumes, and more.
3. Public Sex
More people than you think have explored public sex on one level or another – up to 69 percent, in fact – and it’s not hard to see why.
The change in location alone can make things mega-hot, but the naughty, exhibitionistic feeling that comes with knowing you could be caught is appealing, too.
You don’t necessarily need to pull out all the stops to enjoy the high of public sex, either. You can try experimenting with toys you or your partner wear underneath your clothes while you’re out and about.

One thing you do want to ensure with exhibition and voyeurism is that everyone involved is consenting to be (as with sex parties). Forcing others to be unwilling participants in your play is not only unethical but could land you in some serious legal hot water.
Of course, this is by no means an exhaustive list of kink play options the average guy who loves sex might want to consider.
But they’re a solid place to start, as you’ll find many other people out there are at least open to trying them. Don’t be afraid to explore others, though. You only have one life to live, so live it to the fullest (safely and consensually).
